A Legacy Through the Centuries

Built in 1650, the Château de Fontpertuis was once the residence of the Lords of Lailly-en-Val before becoming, in the 19th century, the property of the distinguished Ducs de Lorges— emblematic figures of the Sologne Orléanaise.

In 1957, the château was acquired by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and transformed into a retirement home for war invalids and Polish refugees, managed by the Polish Humanitarian Fund..

Suite à son acquisition en 2023, la famille du Dr Toussi restored the château to its former glory, transforming it into a high‑end intergenerational residence that harmoniously combines multiple activities and services while preserving its historic soul.

An Innovative Family Vision

Driven by the Toussi family, the Art & Mémoire project is far more than a senior residence — it is a pioneering vision of aging. Inspired by the latest medical advances, Dr. Toussi explains: “Medicine now allows us to measure the physiological age of each organ and slow the aging process. We have created a unique place in France where well‑being, culture, and human connection come together.”

The château has been designed as a true cocoon of comfort, where every detail is crafted for the well‑being of its residents. Cultural activities, artistic workshops, and intergenerational events bring the estate to life, making it a vibrant and inspiring environment.
